Russo EVO Oil

The secular plantations of olive trees belong to the cultivar carolea, infact they arise on hilly areas positioned halfway up the coast respect to the level of the sea always kissed by the mediterranean sun, an ideal environmental condition which ensures strong plants not exposed to pests contamination. The processing which takes place a few howes from harvest, makes it possible to maintain a low rate of acidity, making the Russo evo oil a true product of excellence as it has been certificated from the various award assigned to the company.
The Farm of Giovanni Russo, located in the town of Montepaone, in the province of Catanzaro, was founded in 1999. The farm is a family management even if recently established, has a long experience in olive production which has been handed down from four generations. The proprietor, Giovanni Russo, was a child when together with his father and grandfather starts to attend the olive groves of the territory. From his mentors, he begins to learn the traditional agricultural techniques involved in the production of olives and oil of great quality. This deep background represents the soul and the philosophy of the Russo Company, a mix between tradition and innovations, in which the great attention to the numerous possibilities created by the new technologies are integreted harmoniously with system of production which take a particular care to the protection of the environment and to the health of the plants. Everything is synonimous of great quality which can be traced in the process of transformation of olives in extra vergin olive but starting from the care for the production of raw material of great quality.
